WED FAITH SESSION LENTEN PROGRAM – SESSION 3—THE TRIAL BEFORE PILATE

Have you ever wondered what it was like at the trial of Jesus before Pontius Pilate? And
what He had to endure when He was scourged? If you had watched the movie the Passion
of Christ, you would have seen it being re-enacted. But we go one step further. Join
us on Weds March 11 at the meeting room, next to the office of St Thomas More parish
at 10 am. We will screen a 30 minute video presented by Catholic theologian and author,
Dr Edward Sri. Dr Sri walks us through the exact same streets that Christ and His disciples
would have walked that fateful day of His trial and eventual crucifixion. Learn from
the Biblical perspective what it meant to the Jews of the day and how Christ suffered. You
will be moved. We have a short optional sharing after the video is screened. Tea and coffee
are provided. All are welcome. For more information do contact Carolin 0432855605
or Christina 0424220915 for more details.
Please note that both groups , Wed Faith Session and Bateman Adult Faith Formation
will be running the same Lenten Programme this year to attend at your convenience.
Wed Faith session dates and times are as follows:
    Mar 11, 26, Apr 8 . Time: 10 to 11.30am
