Congratulations to the 76 students from both Yidarra Primary School and the Parish R.E. Program who received the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time on Saturday 13th October 2018. As Parish Priest, and on behalf of Fr Garner and Deacon Bruce Talbot, I would like to thank everyone involved in the organisation of this very important celebration. Whilst so many people are involved and their efforts are so much appreciated, I would especially like to thank the children’s teachers, Mrs Lis Stalley, Mrs Elianne Souter and Miss Brianna Gugliotta for the children’s preparation. Special thanks also to Yidarra A/Principal, Mr Russell Wylie, Yidarra Deputy Principals, Rosemary Paparella and Antonio Muto, Parish Religious Education Coordinator, Jenny Figliomeni and Fr Thi and Fr Richard who assisted in the celebration.
