The Catholic Mission team in Perth would like to express our heart-felt gratitude to the
parish staff and volunteers at St Thomas More Parish for their generous support and
hospitality offered leading up to and during the Archdiocesan Anti-Poverty Mass on
October 17. Many who had attended from parishes far and wide have commented to us
on not only on the spiritual nourishment they received from the Mass, but also from the
Bakers Delight bread that the parish volunteers so kindly served to the staff and students from schools across the whole Archdiocese that helped created a papable atmosphere of warmth and welcome. Without a doubt the missionary heart of your parish
community has been very strong and vibrant during Pope Francis’ Extraordinary Month
of Mission.
