WEDNESDAY FAITH PROGRAM – WED 28 OCT AT 10AM
“Be holy, because I, the Lord your God, am holy.” Matt 5:48
In the first session of the video series Untold Blessing: Three Paths to Holiness, Theologian Fr (now Bishop) Robert Barron explored the first Path – Finding the Centre, Jesus Christ. And showed how by anchoring ourselves to him, we can achieve wholeness, harmony and radiance in our lives.
In the next session on Wed, 28 Oct, Bishop Barron leads us on Path 2 – Knowing you are a sinner.
28 Oct Path 2 – Knowing you are a sinner
11 Nov Path 3 – Realising your life is not about you
Place & Time: Parish meeting room 10am-11.30am
In Path 1 Fr Barron shows us that when Christ is unambiguously the centre of our life, everything falls into a harmonious pattern around it. As Christ says, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and ……all these things shall be added to you.” When we allow Christ to be the centre and anchor of our life, we can be at peace even when there’s turmoil all around – like Jesus sleeping peacefully in Peter’s boat amidst a storm. In conclusion Fr Barron also gives us an eye-opening perspective on the Beatitudes in the gospel of Luke 6:20-23.
Come and join us as we journey towards holiness on Wed 28 Oct.
All are welcome. Do come early to make a cuppa for yourself before we settle down for the video. The video will be followed by a short reflection and sharing.
