THANK YOU FOR THE DONATIONS OF BISCUITS FOR THE PRISONERS The Parish would like to thank everyone who made and donated the Christmas biscuits for the prisoners and also to all those who came to help pack the biscuits into little packets. Your donations and help is greatly appreciated. Please pick up your containers from the meeting room kitchen, they have been washed and kept there for you to pick them up. On Christmas Day Fr Michael Keating, with John and Angela McCarthy, celebrated Mass with the prisoners in Wandoo Rehabilitation Facility in Murdoch Drive. The women prisoners were deeply moved, as was Fr Michael and all present, by the celebration of the Mass in the prison. The home made biscuits were distributed after Communion and there were many tears. The women particularly wanted to thank all those who made the biscuits with such love and generosity as it meant a great deal to them all. The balance of the biscuits were sent to St. Patrick’s Community Centre in Fremantle for them to distribute the biscuits on Christmas Day. They have sent an email to the Parish Office thanking us for the Donation and are really very appreciative of it. Once again, many thanks to all of you who donated and to all of you who helped to pack the biscuits.
